Wyatt Y. Warner has extensive training and experience in vehicle crash investigation, reconstruction, and testing. He has investigated a wide variety of crash events, and applies unique knowledge to his work as an Engineer at Collision Safety Engineering.
Wyatt Warner earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Brigham Young University, and was involved in SAE’s collegiate programs where he served as head of the powertrain group in the SAE Mini Baja competition.
He earned a Master’s degree in manufacturing engineering two years later, and published a thesis on manufacturing Carbon-Fiber Reinforced Plastics. He is currently pursuing a PhD in mechanical engineering with an emphasis on the performance seats in automobiles subject to rear impacts.
Wyatt is trained in many computerized tools and traditional techniques pertaining to accident reconstruction. He specializes in automotive and off-road vehicle crash analysis, and has a passion for vehicles of all types. He also serves as a crash test engineer, and is competent in crash test instrumentation, data collection, test design, and high speed photography.
